Disciplinary Crossings in the Critical Musicologies

As part of the celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Boston University School of Music, the Boston University Musicology & Ethnomusicology Department is proud to present the conference “Disciplinary Crossings in the Critical Musicologies,” to be held on BU’s London, England campus with our partners at the Royal College of Music. The conference follows up on our June 2019 conference “Atlantic Crossings: Music from 1492 to the Long 18th Century” by inquiring into the disciplinary manifestations of the conjuncture between historical ethnomusicology and global music history. (See abstract). The conference will be held in London with some virtual presentations via Zoom.
